Position Summary:

NDi is in search of a Lead Communications Strategist to enhance the Federal Agency's operations through the management of high-level communications, strategic messaging, creative production, and content creation.

Essential Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • The candidate must be eligible to secure Public Trust clearance.
  • This role is currently hybrid (remote/onsite) and necessitates onsite presence at least once a week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 7 to 12+ years of experience in strategic communications, marketing outreach, web communications, writing, editing, advertising, and publishing, with a focus on executive-level support.
  • Outstanding writing abilities with proven experience in crafting and refining executive-level communications, web content, marketing materials, and communication strategies.
  • Proficient in developing and managing communications and marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management within complex organizational settings.
  • Ability to distill intricate data concepts into clear and engaging content.
  • Skilled in graphic design and video editing, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint), Visio, Power BI, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, CRM, Kanban, and email marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually compelling presentations and talking points for executive leadership, emphasizing the significance of our programs and services.
  • Simplify complex program initiatives and policies to formulate messaging for employees, stakeholders, and organizational leadership.
  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of marketing and branding initiatives for the Agency, including event experiences, talking points, website content, video scripts, social media messaging, and other multimedia assets.
  • Convey client requirements to design and development teams, oversee production schedules, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Manage client expectations, resources, design teams, and production timelines to guarantee the prompt delivery of assets.
  • Ensure that materials are current and reflect the organization's existing policies.
  • Enhance the effectiveness of the communications program by integrating data analytics into campaigns and initiatives.
