Job Summary

The Senior Communications Strategist will lead and manage a team of public affairs analysts, designers, and developers to ensure effective communication strategies align with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing the creation of visual and digital content, facilitating collaboration among team members, and ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic communications in support of organizational priorities
  • Coordinate media activities and interview preparations for senior leaders
  • Track media activities and information environment
  • Lead and manage a team of public affairs analysts, designers, and developers
  • Oversee the creation of visual and digital content

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communications or 6+ years of experience
  • 5 years of experience in communications
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and research
  • Understanding of DoD Public Affairs process and AP style guide
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
