Position Summary

This role is crucial for overseeing and enhancing the monitoring practices within the Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to both federal and state regulations for funded programs. This position will focus on refining existing methodologies to align with industry standards while maintaining a comprehensive policy and procedures manual to guide compliance and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual monitoring strategy.
  • Maintain an electronic dashboard to track monitoring activities and outcomes.
  • Coordinate monitoring sessions across various jurisdictions.
  • Review relevant literature and regulations to inform compliance practices.
  • Prepare and present monthly updates on monitoring activities and findings.
  • Conduct thorough program evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to local programs based on monitoring results.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and respond to auditor inquiries as needed.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of five years of experience in managing human services programs or conducting program evaluations. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Preferred Skills

Ideal candidates will have experience in conducting program reviews, drafting reports, and familiarity with federal and state regulations relevant to aging services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications is also desired.
