We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Security Program Support Specialist to assist in our industrial security initiatives for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. The selected candidate will join a dynamic team tasked with upholding a compliant security framework at WRA.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in managing the WRA industrial security program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and specific client requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between WRA and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) as well as client-specific security offices.
- Develop and sustain a corporate security program that includes standard operating procedures, emergency action plans, and best practices to ensure adherence to contract stipulations.
- Oversee all facets of personnel security clearances, including maintaining records in the Security Information Management System (SIMS), processing documentation for initial and periodic reinvestigations, and conducting security indoctrinations and debriefings.
- Facilitate all necessary in-house training and briefings related to the industrial security program, such as annual refreshers, courier briefings, derivative classification training, OPSEC training, and other client-specific training.
- Implement and maintain an Insider Threat Program.
- Conduct onboarding processes for new employees.
- Manage the daily operations of classified work within secure environments, including the creation and execution of policy and procedure manuals.
- Perform annual security self-assessments, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of follow-up actions.
- Coordinate periodic inspections by DCSA and client security personnel, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Establish and enforce compliant document control procedures, including inventory management, marking, and the transfer of classified documents.
- Process requests for incoming and outgoing classified visits.
- Review and prepare DD254s and other contract security documentation and guidance.
- Collaborate with WRA Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain the accreditation of information systems.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling classified documents or working in a classified setting.
- Proven experience in managing a program or organization while ensuring compliance with security, human resources, or other regulations.
- Familiarity with personnel file databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience collaborating directly with senior leadership.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Willingness to complete DCSA FSO training within six months of employment.
- DCSA FSO training.
