Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team at Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. in Newark, NJ. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing multi-state bi-weekly and monthly payrolls using ADP Enterprise EV5. You will act as the subject matter expert, supporting HR Operations with day-to-day inquiries and payroll issues, as well as assisting with payroll system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process US biweekly payrolls to ensure timely and accurate paychecks using ADP Enterprise EV5.
  • Perform accurate calculations for new hires, terminations, LOAs, third-party sick pay, and salary changes.
  • Issue off-cycle manual payments based on payroll procedures and state requirements.
  • Review severance agreements and payments according to the terms.
  • Conduct peer-review for any transactions issued by Payroll team members.
  • Follow Corporate SOX internal controls and use pre- and post-audit cycle checklists to maintain compliance.
  • Research sophisticated and critical issues while meeting Payroll SLAs.
  • Assist with Payroll implementation work.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll processing is vital.
  • At least 5 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player/Multi-tasking.
  • Experience in handling projects.
  • Prior payroll implementation experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
