Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for driving revenue growth and implementing yield strategies to maximize asset goals for both hotels. This role participates in marketing decisions and oversees room revenue to achieve top-line revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue from various markets and market segments.
  • Communicate sales efforts through effective oral and written communication, overseeing rate, date, and space commitments for group, negotiated, and contract account room sales.
  • Participate in Regency's Sales*REV prospecting program and utilize Delphi CRM to its full potential.
  • Compile and direct the preparation of reports on the sales department's operation, including sales month-end reports, monthly and annual forecasts, and annual sales and marketing budgets.
  • Regularly research market trends and related information to develop new sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients, promoting Regency programs and services.
  • Communicate clear information and direction to staff to ensure first-class guest hospitality.
  • Organize and/or attend scheduled sales department, management, and related meetings.
  • Represent the hotel in community and industry organizations and events.
  • Assist in the overall success of each hotel's operations and revenue management practices as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions coinciding.
  • Exert a well-paced ability to reach other hotel departments on time.
  • Ability to bend and squat, lifting 25 lbs. to 35 lbs. occasionally.
  • Requires the ability to walk and stand for extended lengths of time.
  • Climb steps in hotels that do not provide elevators.
  • Be able to travel by car occasionally.

  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
