Position Summary:
As a key leader within the organization, the Patient Care Director is responsible for overseeing the management functions related to planning, organizing, staffing, budgeting, and directing surgical services and procedural areas. This role is essential in ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in alignment with the hospital's mission and objectives.
Accountability:
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Patient Care Services.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in perioperative nursing, along with two years in a management role.
- Evidence of ongoing education in operating room nursing and management skills is essential.
