About the Role

PepsiCo is a leading global food and beverage company that is committed to delivering high-quality products to its customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Quality and Food Safety Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis and development of quality and food safety metrics and business processes using data analytics tools.
  • Derive insights from multiple quality and food safety metrics and communicate cross-functionally to assist teams in solving operational issues.
  • Administer policies and practices, initiate, and implement projects to improve quality and food safety.
  • Conduct presentations and formal training programs to educate teams on quality and food safety best practices.
  • Improve team communication and engagement by fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Think quickly, creatively, and challenge teams to do the same in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Support and execute various components and activities spanning the quality and food safety programs, including data collection, business case product analysis, risk assessments, documenting procedures, developing training, auditing, process improvement, and issues management.
  • Be accountable for quality and food safety programs and achievement of line performance metrics.
  • Possess a passion for leveraging data and creating meaningful insights using key data analytics techniques, including data/text mining, machine learning, pattern matching, visualization, and statistics.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a results-oriented and challenging environment.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Food Processing Engineering, Food Science, Microbiology, Agriculture/Biological Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (other related majors will be considered).
  • Working knowledge of Python, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and highly motivated self-starters.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly.
  • Ability to work on large projects and manage time and effort without need for constant supervision.
  • Ability to give/receive constructive feedback and lead a team-based approach to decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and developing reporting tools.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
  • Communication skills to work with all levels of the organization from manufacturing employees to corporate executives.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
  • Be completing their final year of undergraduate studies.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree prior to the intended full-time start date.
