Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at JTM Food Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues that impact production schedules and quality.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications and/or 2+ year apprenticeship preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.
  • Basic plumbing, painting, and carpentry skills, with ability to operate material handling equipment and aerial lift equipment.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience working in food manufacturing preferred.
