Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Finance summer intern to join our team. As a Supply Chain Finance intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of accounting processes and financial analyses, including training and experience in cost accounting and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in plant financial period closes and related tasks
  • Participate in physical inventory cycle counts
  • Take ownership of a plant accounting responsibility for 6-8 weeks
  • Complete projects analyzing costs, developing insights, and recommending corrective actions
  • Present project results at the local plant and division HQ
  • Partner with Supply Chain operations teams
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Demonstrated interest in cost accounting and operations through coursework and/or previous internships
  • Strong people/communication skills to manage information gathering requests
  • Results-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products
