Job Summary:

The Administrative Operations Manager will provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. This includes managing and overseeing the administrative operations of the Office of the Provost, acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies, and assisting the Provost in communicating with constituents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain the Provost's calendar and schedule, anticipating and resolving scheduling conflicts
* Coordinate logistics for special events, including the academic retreat and academic leadership meeting
* Prioritize functions and appointments, ensuring that meetings, deadlines, and presentations are completed
* Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and confidentiality
* Assist the Provost in tracking and completing key tasks and projects
* Coordinate complex travel arrangements, process travel reimbursements, and reconcile credit card bills as needed
* Manage invoicing, requisitions, and purchase orders for the Office of the Provost
* Maintain and update databases, including contact information
* Work collaboratively with executives and executive assistants in the Executive Office
* Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the Provost

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
* Experience working for an executive required; experience in higher education preferred
* Demonstrated project management experience
* Event planning experience a plus
* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work within a multicultural environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
* Deep understanding and commitment to Touro University's values and respect for all faculty, staff, and students
* Expert knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio a plus
* PC expertise required
* Proficient in Internet Research
* Ability to learn internal software for scheduling, processing payments, etc.

Salary:
USD $72,106.00/Yr.
