Job Summary:

Vaco is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead our Wealth Management business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on financial services and wealth management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Develop and execute program plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Communication: Develop and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of program status and progress.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program and project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality delivery of projects, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive project-related experience in financial services and project management.
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g. business, finance) - preferred.
  • Certifications: PMP and/or PgMP certification or equivalent - preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
