Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Field all customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
    • Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and refunds.
  • Order Management
    • Process customer orders and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
    • Manage and resolve order discrepancies and issues.
  • Store Operations
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
    • Assist with visual merchandising and store displays.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • 1 year of customer service experience in a retail environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 10 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and may be subject to high noise levels and dust.
