The Private Client Division at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is currently in search of a Registered Client Service Associate for their branch office.
The primary role of the RCSA is to assist Financial Advisors in sales, marketing, and the daily operations of a thriving wealth management practice.
This position necessitates outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.This role will involve performing a variety of daily tasks to ensure the team expands its business, operates efficiently, and upholds service excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities- Understand and adapt to the service requirements of diverse accounts to address daily inquiries from clients and advisors.
- Quickly acquire knowledge of various forms and account procedures to assist clients effectively.
- Learn to utilize research and technical support tools proficiently.
- Generate quality analytical reports using different software applications.
- Enhance relationships with advisors by providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
- Act with integrity and respect in all professional interactions.
- Foster and develop existing client relationships.
- Support marketing initiatives and organize client events.
- Prioritize daily tasks, monitor project progress and deadlines, manage phone communications, take messages, and schedule appointments.
- Exhibit initiative and a desire to expand knowledge of industry rules, regulations, and concepts.
- Engage with other support members, Financial Advisors, and Management in the local office.
- Series 7 and 63/65 (or 66) required within the first six months of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a sales assistant/Client Service Associate in a corporate or brokerage setting.
- High proficiency with technology, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn internal software.
- Must be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude, seeking growth and opportunities to expand the role.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of daily work and possess excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and working efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
