Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately scan and ring out customer purchases using POS register, including cash, check, and charge transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring total customer satisfaction.
  • Replenish inventory from in-store stock and incoming orders.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a professional and clean checkout area.
  • Assist in the maintenance of general store cleanliness, including restrooms, break rooms, backrooms, and entryways.
  • Replenish register supplies as needed.
  • Answer the phone using an appropriate greeting and maintain customer service levels.
  • Assist in inventory management, price marking, and merchandising of the checkout area and surrounding departments.
  • React to potential shoplifters according to company policy.
  • Assist in the implementation of Kinney Standard of Presentation (Merchandising).
  • Assist in ordering replacement product from the appropriate supplier.
  • Accurately package and prepare items for home/business delivery.
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
Requirements
  • Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
  • Preferred: 0-1 years of previous experience in a related position.
Compensation

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors, including relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
