AHP Management Corp. is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our dedicated team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in advancing our mission and vision.

Position Overview:
The Leasing Consultant will engage directly with potential and current residents by promoting, showcasing, and leasing apartment homes in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the property for visitor arrivals by following established protocols before the office opens.
  • Lease apartments and actively promote our offerings to achieve set goals and surpass occupancy targets.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the community, including answering calls, processing work orders, data entry, and organizing resident events.
  • Conduct property tours for prospective residents, highlighting community amenities and showcasing model apartments.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and customer service techniques.
  • Create marketing strategies to drive engagement, including outreach to local businesses for lead generation.
  • Maintain accurate records of available apartments, prospective residents, and lease renewals.
  • Engage with current residents to facilitate lease renewals while negotiating optimal rental terms.
  • Prepare all necessary lease documentation and welcome packages, ensuring clarity and accuracy for new and existing residents.
  • Conduct pre-qualifications and rental verifications in accordance with company policies and housing regulations.
  • Adhere to established guidelines for the qualification, screening, and acceptance of residency applicants.
  • Deliver resident gifts and assist with move-in/move-out inspections to ensure units are ready for new residents.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience and Skills:
  • Background in Sales and Customer Service.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Software and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
  • Complete in-house training within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Demonstrate a passion for the work and maintain a professional demeanor.
