- Effectively lease apartments at optimal rent levels while upholding a strong customer service ethos.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Promptly address resident inquiries and assist in resolving any issues.
- Understand and communicate company and community policies to residents and prospects.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all lease-related documents and ensure timely completion.
- Keep accurate resident files in compliance with company policies.
- Input resident and prospective resident data into the system as per company guidelines.
- Support the development and execution of resident retention and renewal strategies to maximize conversion rates.
- Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in to confirm readiness.
- Assist in leasing activities and foster positive resident relations.
- Stay informed about competitive rent levels and community amenities.
- Be knowledgeable about community and area statistics.
- Contribute to the preparation of competitive market survey reports as needed.
- Welcome new residents and facilitate their move-in experience.
- Verify application information for accuracy.
- Assess and qualify potential residents.
- Show model and available units to prospective tenants.
- Participate in organizing community events.
- Complete the company’s in-house training program to become a certified Leasing Specialist.
- Occasional travel may be required, including limited use of personal vehicle.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Weekend hours may be necessary on occasion.
