As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Leasing Manager with our marketing and leasing initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass various sales and promotional projects, ensuring compliance with our branding and leasing policies as established by management.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Leasing Manager, Regional Leasing Specialist, and VP of Marketing and Leasing to set occupancy goals and strategize on achieving budgeted targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Leasing Manager in executing national branding strategies and marketing objectives as outlined in the annual marketing plan.
  • Create and distribute leasing and marketing materials, ensuring all content is accurate and professionally presented.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, property showcases, and social media campaigns as approved.
  • Implement monthly marketing calendars and initiatives effectively.
  • Enhance your knowledge of the property market, fair housing regulations, and industry trends to exceed leasing targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and addressing inquiries from prospective and current residents both in-person and over the phone.
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies for both print and online platforms.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups on guest inquiries.
  • Engage in outreach marketing efforts, distributing promotional materials and flyers.
  • Facilitate the move-in process, including property tours and lease signings.
  • Assist with application processing and ensure timely completion of lease documentation.
  • Support the Leasing Manager in renewal initiatives.
  • Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis, completing marketing reports as necessary.
  • Adhere to all business operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Creative approach to developing engaging marketing presentations.

Detail-oriented with respect to applications and compliance.

Highly motivated and energetic.

Experience Required:
A minimum of two years in Marketing/Leasing and Customer Service.

A High School Diploma is required; coursework in marketing is preferred.

A strong focus on sales and marketing is essential.

Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.

Proficient in all aspects of property management operations.

Strong organizational, analytical, financial, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional communication, management, and customer service skills.

Proficient in email, internet usage, and office software, including word processing and spreadsheets.

Experience with property management software is a plus.

Working Conditions:
The majority of your working hours will be in an office environment.

Occasional exposure to various weather conditions may be necessary for property marketing, meetings, and conducting tours.


During peak turnover periods, vacation restrictions may apply.

Travel outside the local area for company meetings or industry events will be minimal, with advance notice provided.

Salary Range:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour
