Technical Service Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
The Technical Service Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the Technical Service department at Standex. This position involves providing administrative assistance, ensuring seamless communication between customers and company personnel, and contributing to the team's efforts in maintaining a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, categorize, and assign incoming technical emails to the appropriate team member, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of customer correspondence, including service agent invoice processing and preparation of shipping documents.
- Monitor customer contact via the Outlook email system, providing timely follow-up on support inquiries and spare parts order processing.
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge by attending training sessions, workshops, and reviewing trade publications.
- Contribute to the team's effort by maintaining intra-departmental workflow, fostering cooperation, and sharing resources and knowledge.
- Support inbound telephone calls and emails, updating IssueTrak records as required.
- Ensure consistency and continuity of job results by maintaining a detailed procedures manual.
- Navigate the ERP system as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business or office-related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of three years in an operational office environment or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with multi-tasking.
