KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Management

  • Deliver comprehensive leadership to the project team to guarantee a secure, profitable, and timely completion of projects.
  • Facilitate onsite meetings to align team objectives.
  • Oversee the productivity of the project team.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and site personnel to address work procedures, grievances, and construction challenges.

Planning & Scheduling

  • Coordinate subcontractors and manage their activities according to the project timeline, ensuring the right resources are available to meet critical milestones.
  • Develop and organize the schedule for each project.
  • Comprehend and manage modifications to the project plan.
  • Provide forecasts and manage alterations due to adverse weather, emergencies, or other delays.
  • Project requirements for materials, equipment, and inventory.
  • Generate reports on timelines, progress, and necessary adjustments.

Oversight & Safety

  • Ensure that construction quality surpasses company standards and that proper industry techniques and processes are employed, while effectively addressing client needs.
  • Confirm that the project adheres to contract specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on-site.
  • Manage the ordering and delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Investigate serious situations and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to plan, organize, and direct activities related to road and site construction projects.

Contracts & Permits

  • Oversee contract administration throughout the close-out phase of assigned projects.
  • Draft and award contracts.
  • Negotiate terms with vendors and suppliers.
  • Submit applications for permits.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, building codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Assist the Engineering/Estimating team in the estimating process to enhance accuracy.
  • Maintain proactive communication between clients and the project team to ensure all parties are informed of essential information.
  • Foster excellent direct communication with the project team to effectively manage potential site issues.
