Position Summary:
The role entails:
- Promoting and selling the company's comprehensive solutions, including products, services, and labor.
- Engaging primarily with end-user clients.
- Enhancing sales through up-selling and cross-selling to our established customer base.
- Building and nurturing positive relationships with customers.
- Meeting or surpassing set annual and quarterly sales targets for both installation and service sectors.
- Expanding the company's recurring monthly revenue by delivering tailored solutions to both existing and prospective clients.
- Utilizing technical expertise and customer insights to guide clients in selecting the appropriate products and services, driving revenue for the organization.
- Conducting site assessments to prepare for customer needs evaluations and cost estimates.
- Drafting statements of work (SOW) and associated sales estimates.
- Delivering sales presentations to clients and management as necessary.
- Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the company's offerings.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of all product lines and services available.
- Collaborating with internal teams to communicate project scopes and relay customer requirements.
- Attracting new clients and enhancing existing relationships through a blend of field sales, telemarketing, and direct outreach.
- Exhibiting strong cold-calling abilities and a knack for identifying new business opportunities.
- Generating leads and compiling customer account data.
- Creating proposals for clients, outlining preventive maintenance plans, and reviewing service reports with technicians to develop repair proposals based on findings.
- Supporting marketing initiatives related to sales efforts, including the formulation of sales and business strategies.
- Reviewing service reports and collaborating with technicians to quantify repair proposals based on identified issues during inspections.
- High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, along with three to five years of professional experience in high-volume sales environments.
- A minimum of five years of successful sales experience within the industry.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals over the past three to five years.
- Demonstrated professional knowledge and understanding of systems such as fire alarm/life-safety, intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and low voltage systems, including installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to organically grow business by offering solutions to both new and existing clients.
- Capability to cultivate customer relationships through consultative selling techniques.
- Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of relevant codes and schematics.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional negotiation and prospecting skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Availability for full-time work and potential travel, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Typically moderate noise levels.
- Normal office and field environments.
- Exposure to construction sites and client facilities.
- Willingness to work extended hours as required by business needs.
- Occasional standing, walking, sitting, twisting, and using hands for various tasks.
- Regularly lifting or moving up to ten pounds and occasionally up to twenty-five pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
