KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the upkeep of the functionality of internally managed computer and communication systems.
  • Provide support to individuals in utilizing computers and related software.
  • Collaborate with IT partners to initiate support cases and assist in troubleshooting workstation and server issues.
  • Help with user management tasks, including unlocking accounts and resetting passwords for specific systems.
  • Support hardware and software upgrades as directed by the IT Administrator.
  • Adhere to security policies and internal controls.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain punctuality, good attendance, and compliance with all personnel policies while fostering a courteous and professional relationship with colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Coursework in computer science or related experience is advantageous.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:

Utilize computers, calculators, telecom equipment, DVRs, printers, scanners, copiers, and other IT-related banking devices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be capable of lifting and moving standard computer equipment, including computers, servers, monitors, and printers. The role requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching, along with manual dexterity to operate standard office machines.

MENTAL DEMANDS:

The candidate should be an extroverted individual who enjoys interacting with people, including bank staff and the general public. The ability to analyze complex information is essential, along with strong organizational skills and self-discipline to work independently. The role may involve working under stress and pressure.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is primarily based in a typical office setting, with the possibility of working evenings or weekends as necessary. Travel between bank branches may be required.
