Role Summary:
The Community Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting the social services department.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance.
- Coordinate resident appointments with external services, including dental and optical.
- Facilitate training sessions to educate staff on psychosocial matters and resident rights.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and all organizational levels.
