**Job Summary:**
The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Donation Pickup and Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Family Store team, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering donated items, processing donated materials, and providing exceptional customer service to donors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Pickup and Delivery of Donations: Safely transport and deliver donated items to our Family Stores, ensuring timely and efficient service to our donors.
- Processing of Donations: Sort, price, and process donated merchandise in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to our quality standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our vehicles, ensuring they are fueled and in good working condition, and reporting any damage or maintenance needs to the manager.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the manager, including assisting with store operations and supporting other team members as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, or any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Skills and Knowledge: Basic computer operation knowledge, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Certifications and Licenses: Must have and maintain a current valid chauffeur's license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR), and complete Safe From Harm training and maintain current certification as needed.
