Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at the Georgia Department of Public Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and training to support the development and implementation of specialty programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and training to support the development and implementation of specialty programs
  • Evaluate programs for compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Ensure quality service provision and support the development and improvement of the Babies Can't Wait Program
  • Train and monitor the quality of services provided by Special Instructors
  • Facilitate team meetings and manage payments through the BIBS system
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with BCW guidelines
  • Conduct quality document reviews through the BCW online system
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment
  • OR Six years of experience performing work related to area of assignment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Child development, early childhood education, early childhood special education, special education or other closely related field
  • OR Related bachelor's or master's degree (Resume must include date degree was awarded)
