Customer and Team Experience – Cultivate a store atmosphere that consistently provides outstanding customer service

Lead, exemplify, instruct, and mentor for a consistent emphasis on customer interaction in line with our Customer Experience Philosophy Establish a culture of proactive customer engagement Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of products, company guidelines, promotions, loyalty initiatives, and lead the team’s education on all aspects of customer and team experience Provide leadership during product launches, visual merchandising updates, and signage placements Address customer concerns effectively by identifying issues and taking initiative to resolve them Promote loyalty and credit card enrollment through an engaged team Enhance the in-store experience through adherence to visual merchandising standards

Operational Excellence - Assess the business and implement clear action plans that drive results.

Oversee all daily store operations Ensure all team members understand objectives and action plans Develop clear action plans that drive performance Direct workload and ensure the execution of strategies throughout the store Guarantee compliance with company policies and ensure the safety of team members and customers Manage merchandise flow, including shipments, restocking, and omni-channel operations Maximize sales and operational opportunities by leading the team in executing merchandising strategies, operational plans, loyalty programs, and other company initiatives Ensure an effective scheduling system that places the right team member in the right role at the right time Manage controllable expenses while ensuring loss prevention and safety protocols are upheld

Essential Qualifications

Three to five years of prior experience in store management with accountability for annual sales exceeding $3 million Demonstrated ability to enhance sales and store profitability Proven capability to network, recruit, interview, train, develop, and promote team members Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings Ability to lift medium to large items weighing up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications (skills and abilities)

Previous experience in retail is preferred Strong communication skills with customers, peers, and supervisors Proven track record of sales accountability Collaborative and respectful team player Ability to multitask and manage multiple customers and processes simultaneously
