Role Summary

The Director of Concessions Operations will spearhead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing the concessions department to ensure optimal guest satisfaction, partner engagement, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive operational leadership experience with a strong emphasis on team development and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting and training team members in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborating with location leadership to enhance guest satisfaction and financial outcomes.
  • Fostering team engagement within the concessions department.
  • Overseeing event preparation and seasonal planning to ensure readiness.
  • Conducting regular maintenance checks and updates on point of sale systems.
  • Partnering with the culinary team for calorific analysis of menu offerings.
  • Implementing and communicating promotional activities effectively.
  • Managing loss prevention strategies, including cash handling and inventory controls.
  • Ensuring compliance with Payment Card Information regulations.
  • Facilitating team member coaching and development.
  • Conducting monthly financial reporting and action planning.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in all concessions areas.
  • Leading recruitment efforts for team members and community groups.
  • Handling guest complaints and team member incidents with professionalism.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process for new management staff.
  • Conducting safety training sessions for team members.
  • Managing scheduling based on event demands.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to quality service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
