JOB SUMMARY:
This role is essential in supporting the store management with daily operational tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Deliver exceptional customer service while mentoring staff in service excellence.
2. Ensure the store is visually appealing through effective organization, cleanliness, and display management.
3. Assist in the compilation of daily operational reports.
4. Manage cash register activities, including cash handling, balancing drawers, and preparing deposits.
5. Engage in sales activities and item processing.
6. Familiarize yourself with safety protocols and adhere to all safety regulations and training.
7. Conduct monthly safety assessments alongside the Store Manager to identify potential risks.
8. Maintain a safety log and coordinate safety drills.
9. Exhibit punctuality and reliability in attendance.
10. Participate in required training sessions.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer relations is advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 months in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Demonstrated reliability through consistent attendance and adherence to schedules.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand, twist, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods (up to 8 hours daily).
- Good manual dexterity and frequent repetitive motions; ability to talk, hear, and maintain visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without accommodations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Retail store setting.
- Work hours may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as approved by management.
