Medical Office Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our medical office, you will be responsible for coordinating patient services, managing schedules, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient appointments, exams, and procedures.
- Manage patient records, including updating demographic information and insurance details.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff regarding scheduling, billing, and other issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, including phone calls, emails, and in-person visits.
- Ensure timely and efficient processing of patient claims, including submitting and following up on claims as needed.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in health administration, business, or related field preferred.
- At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical office management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
