About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with brain injuries and other challenges to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to adults with brain injury diagnoses, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Work collaboratively with families, involving them in the therapeutic process and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Nursing Teams, and Behavioral Teams to ensure treatment plans are effective and meet participant needs.
  • Deliver therapeutic supervision to participants and families during treatment and education activities.
  • Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Assist in participant behavior management using non-aggressive, de-escalation techniques provided as part of our comprehensive training.
Requirements
  • Behavioral caregiver experience preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid/clean driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Good attitude with the ability to work both within a team and independently.
  • Caring and compassionate mindset.
