Position Overview:
The University of Miami is seeking a Senior Clinical Program Manager to join our esteemed Bascom Palmer Eye Institute team. This role is pivotal in the development, organization, and assessment of various health promotion and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care within the designated unit.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the coordination and supervision of program activities, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Mentor and empower team members to excel in their roles through training and development initiatives.
3. Assess program performance, analyze outcomes, and propose actionable improvements.
4. Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, including project funders, advisors, and participants, while actively recruiting program members and volunteers.
5. Oversee personnel management tasks, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
6. Foster positive relationships with patients and families, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
7. Create and distribute program communications, including promotional materials and reports.
8. Maintain accurate records and statistical data for administrative and quality assurance purposes.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a related role.
Skills:
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow directives.

Department-Specific Functions:
- Assist in the allocation of Fellows to clinics and ensure patient coverage.
- Oversee daily operations of specialized clinics, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care delivery and streamline processes.
- Develop and maintain marketing initiatives, acting as a liaison with the marketing team.
- Prepare reports, budgets, and other materials for presentations.
- Address patient inquiries promptly and guide them through their care journey.
