About the Role: As a valued member of the Cleveland Clinic, you will engage with dedicated healthcare professionals and contribute to a respected institution in the medical field.

Position Overview: This role operates on a PRN basis, with flexible hours available from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. A minimum commitment of two shifts per month is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' conditions.
  • Develop, modify, and assess care plans tailored to identified issues, involving patients and their families in the process.
  • Execute therapeutic interventions using established physical therapy techniques suitable for various age groups and conditions.
  • Oversee the activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant certification.
  • Graduation from a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience is preferred.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and navigate stairs without assistance while maintaining balance to prevent patient falls.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands categorized at the heavy level as defined by relevant labor standards.
  • Proficiency in lifting and reaching to assist patients during therapeutic activities.
  • Manual dexterity and tactile sensitivity to assess muscle tension and monitor vital signs.
  • Visual acuity to observe and analyze patients' motor functions and read monitoring equipment.
  • Clear verbal communication skills to instruct patients and their families.
  • Adequate hearing to comprehend patients' descriptions of symptoms and treatment responses.
