Job Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician at Redwood Living, Inc., you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and groundskeeping duties at our properties. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
  • Apartment Preparation: Prepare apartment homes for new tenants efficiently, ensuring a smooth transition and a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Equipment Repair: Handle kitchen appliances and other equipment repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring residents have access to essential amenities.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for emergency maintenance on a rotating schedule, providing prompt and effective solutions to unexpected issues.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols at all times, prioritizing the well-being of residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Groundskeeping: Assist with snow removal when necessary, ensuring our properties remain safe and accessible during inclement weather.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with:

  • HVAC Certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous experience in apartment maintenance
  • Proficiency in using smart devices and computers
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
