Operational Strategy Advisor

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a world-renowned pediatric cancer treatment and research center seeking an exceptional Operational Strategy Advisor to join our Strategic Technology and Transformation Office.
About the RoleThis key position will leverage data analysis and business acumen to drive strategic decision-making, optimize processes, and improve operational efficiency within the Information Services department.
- Design and conduct complex studies using advanced empirical methods or mixed quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to IT strategy and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior management.
- Leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment across multiple departments.
- Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and anticipate challenges within Information Services.
- Create performance measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of initiatives, projects, and processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhancement.
- Design and implement dashboards and reports to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions, clearly communicating findings, methodologies, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Enhance and expand the monthly business review process by creating dashboards, guiding KPI development, and delivering regular updates to executive leadership.
- Analyze economic data, including financial statements, market trends, and industry benchmarks, to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize service delivery.
We seek a highly motivated and self-driven critical thinker with 8+ years of experience in client-facing environments interacting with senior and executive leadership.
Requirements- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, business (economics or finance preferred), or related field.
- Master's degree (such as MBA) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical analysis tools, and familiarity with IT operating models.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $104,000 - $186,160 per year.
