Strategic IT Operations Advisor

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a seasoned expert in strategic IT operations to join our Information Services department as Principal Operational Strategy Advisor. Located in Memphis, Tennessee, our mission is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
Job OverviewThe Principal Operational Strategy Advisor will play a pivotal role in optimizing processes and improving performance within the Information Services department. This position requires analyzing complex data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiencies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will utilize advanced analytics and your strong business acumen to recommend data-driven solutions that align with the hospital's mission. Your expertise in process optimization, predictive modeling, and cross-functional collaboration will be invaluable assets to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct studies using advanced empirical methods or mixed quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques to inform strategic decision-making.
- Analyze complex datasets using advanced analytics techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to IT strategy.
- Leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast future trends, anticipate challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within Information Services.
- Design and implement performance measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of Information Services' initiatives, projects, and processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, business (economics or finance preferred), or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in a client-facing environment interacting with senior and executive leadership at the department and organization level.
- Highly prefer 8+ years of progressive experience working with Information Technology Operating Models or Healthcare Operations.
- Proven ability to apply quantitative reasoning skills to approach complex problems systematically.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, data modeling, and data visualization.
We offer an attractive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $104,000 - $186,160 per year. Our comprehensive benefits program includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
