Position Overview

Join our dynamic team at Magnolia Bluffs Casino, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and a premier gaming experience. We are currently seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor to enhance our service quality and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Assisting with the opening and closing procedures of the service area.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including balancing cash registers at the start and end of shifts.
  • Supporting the training and development of new staff members.
  • Creating daily floor plans to optimize service.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of customer service are met consistently.
  • Following established Food and Beverage policies and protocols.
  • Addressing and resolving guest complaints effectively.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the front-of-house areas.
  • Supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Filling in for other staff roles as necessary.
  • Promoting a culture of outstanding customer service.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 lbs on occasion.
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 6-8 hours.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • TIPS Certification is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in kitchen management is essential.
  • Experience with inventory management is required.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills are a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to provide positive leadership and encourage growth among kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs is necessary.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours is required.
