Position Overview

Magnolia Bluffs Casino, a premier entertainment venue located along the historic Mississippi River, is seeking to enhance our team with a dedicated Hotel Bartender. As a Hotel Bartender, you will report directly to the Director of Hotel Operations and play a crucial role in ensuring a memorable experience for our patrons. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing friendly and efficient service to guests.
  • Managing the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system and ensuring accurate financial transactions.
  • Preparing and organizing all necessary settlement documentation.
  • Recording all food and beverage revenues along with corresponding payment methods.
  • Restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Monitoring and ordering necessary stock to meet demand.
  • Ensuring compliance with established par levels.
  • Adhering to state alcohol regulations while monitoring guest consumption.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with health standards.
  • Communicating guest feedback to management.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Fostering positive relationships with guests and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • TIPS certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of bartending experience.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • The stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
