POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Title Processing Specialist is tasked with the meticulous management of title transfers from sellers to buyers. This role demands a high level of proficiency in handling all documentation related to titles, ensuring compliance with DMV regulations. The Title Processing Specialist is expected to deliver exceptional customer service consistently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:
  1. Delivering prompt and courteous assistance to all clients at all times.
  2. Ensuring timely, accurate, and complete processing of title transfers.
  3. Maintaining a proactive and direct approach in customer interactions.
  4. Overseeing the ordering, processing, filing, copying, and mailing of titles with precision.
  5. Guaranteeing the timely and accurate completion of all in-house title tasks prior to sale events.
  6. Managing the communication of title lists to dealers efficiently.
  7. Addressing and rectifying any title discrepancies promptly.
  8. Logging all title numbers accurately into the AS400 system.
  9. Handling seller payments in exchange for completed titles and obtaining signatures of receipt.
  10. Notifying dealers regarding the readiness or delays of titles.
  11. Providing exemplary customer service to all dealers.
  12. Documenting all titles dispatched or collected in the AS400 system accurately.
  13. Welcoming dealers and offering assistance as required.
  14. Managing phone communications in a professional manner.
  15. Ensuring visibility and accessibility throughout the work environment.
  16. Acquainting oneself with and supporting other roles in registration, telemarketing, and related areas.
  17. Handling front counter operations and processing payments post-sale.
  18. Compiling reports following the conclusion of sales.
  19. Exhibiting the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  20. Communicating any operational issues that may impact success to management in a timely manner.
  21. Performing additional duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma; some college education preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an office setting is required.
  • Skills: Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined. Strong customer service orientation is essential. Proficiency in computer usage is necessary. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Work Environment: The Title Processing Specialist will primarily work in an office setting, spending extended periods at a desk. This role involves repetitive tasks at a computer while seated.
