Role Overview:

The Change Management Specialist will implement change management methodologies to facilitate the effective release and modification of engineering data. This position requires proficient communication with various departments and coordination of the organization's endorsement and execution of enterprise modifications. The role encompasses providing engineering assistance, leadership, and technical oversight for designated projects, while collaborating with marketing and engineering data stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Oversee technical data modifications through the Enterprise Change Request (ECR) process utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner with engineering leadership, consulting engineers, project engineers, marketing, production, quality assurance, procurement, and suppliers to drive product enhancement and cost-saving initiatives for globally sourced items.
  • Engineering Application: Employ sound engineering principles across components and systems, including design, bill of materials, 3D modeling, assembly, analysis, and quality assurance.
  • Programming Logic: Develop programming logic for bill of material generation through a configurator application.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist projects and teams associated with Engineering Systems applications and create/update engineering documentation to reflect current practices and procedures.
  • Multi-tasking: Effectively manage shifting priorities while demonstrating strong multi-tasking capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience as a Change Management Specialist in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
    • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management, CAD, project, and content management systems.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Pro-E/CREO, PDMLink.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Technical knowledge in areas such as motors, drives, pumping technology, electronic controls, and business values.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a product, project, or support engineering role.
    • Experience with valves, pumps, electric motors, electro-mechanical devices, fluid applications, and pressure-containing vessel design.
    • Expertise in 3D CAD software (Pro/E, Creo preferred).
    • Experience with product lifecycle management software (Windchill preferred).
    • Experience working with regulatory/listing agencies.
    • Familiarity with PTC Windchill and PTC Creo Parametric, including Creo Simulate.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
