Position Summary

The Industrial Manufacturing Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes. This position involves leveraging expertise in product design, materials, and fabrication techniques to optimize production efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and refine manufacturing processes to improve productivity.
  • Assess workforce allocation, spatial requirements, and workflow to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate design specifications and documentation to determine feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Investigate equipment failures and operational issues to recommend improvements.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software (e.g., NX, UG, Solidworks, Catia).
  • Experience with CNC machinery and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of mathematics as applied in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, machining, and welding processes.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality control methods.
  • Experience with specialized processes such as plasma coatings and airflow measurement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Legally authorized to work in the applicable country.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 4 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with Process Control and PFMEA.
