University of Missouri - Anesthesiology Department

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

The Anesthesiology Department is actively seeking qualified CRNA candidates to provide anesthesia services for surgical procedures at MU Health facilities. This role offers a range of benefits, including:

  • A competitive starting salary of $250,000 for a commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Potential for additional earnings for extra shifts, with rates up to $210 per hour.
  • Generous paid time off totaling 27 days, alongside 9 paid holidays, and up to 8 additional days for continuing medical education (CME) annually.
  • Flexible scheduling options designed to enhance work-life balance.
  • Possibility of a signing bonus.
  • Additional bonuses available for SRNAs currently in training or those nearing completion of their training.


CRNAs will deliver anesthesia care under the supervision of anesthesiologists across 42 locations. The demand for additional CRNAs is driven by the opening of a new facility dedicated to women's and children's health and the need for expanded surgical services. Candidates will be integrated into staff roles within the Anesthesiology Department, enjoying all associated benefits of the University of Missouri. Applicants must hold Board Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists and be eligible for licensure in Missouri.
