Position: Neonatology Nurse Practitioner
Role Summary:
This role is essential in delivering exceptional care to newborns within the NICU environment. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with neonatologists to provide comprehensive medical services for critically ill infants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medical interventions for NICU patients, working in conjunction with or under the guidance of a neonatologist.
- Educate medical students, residents, and nursing personnel on neonatal resuscitation techniques, skilled procedures, and initial management of ventilators and other support systems for critically ill infants.
- Contribute to the establishment of nursing care standards and engage in potential research initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising authority.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Nursing is mandatory.
- Possession of a current RN license from the State of Missouri is essential.
- A valid ARNP license from the State of Missouri is required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in neonatology is necessary.
- National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and experience in a diverse work or academic setting is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
