About the Role:
Join Burrell Behavioral Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse and play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. This position allows you to provide essential care and support to clients in various settings throughout Central Missouri.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your duties will include:
  • Delivering direct nursing care in alignment with physician directives and established protocols.
  • Evaluating clients' physical and emotional requirements, crafting personalized care plans to address their needs.
  • Administering medications and observing clients' progress and reactions to treatments.
  • Maintaining precise and current documentation of client care while effectively communicating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborating with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and support.
  • Providing education to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment alternatives, and self-care practices.
  • Fostering a safe and nurturing environment that promotes dignity, growth, and well-being for all clients.

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Missouri.

Work Environment:
Your role will be based in a Burrell clinic or residential facility, assisting individuals dealing with persistent mental health and substance use disorders.
