About the Role

As a Project Engineer at Flatiron Construction, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing cost data to ensure project success. You will meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedules and confirm materials, equipment, and resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data
  • Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling
  • Identify risk elements that could negatively impact the budget or schedule
  • Evaluate daily production, schedule, and budget projections to track project performance
  • Update project schedules weekly for owner and management reporting
  • Prepare and manage three-week work plans
  • Notify engineering and project management of significant schedule changes and develop solutions to mitigate delays and costs

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5+ years of construction engineering experience. You should have knowledge of resource monitoring techniques, construction technology, process systems, and structures. Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices is also required.
