Job Summary

A Financial Reporting Specialist prepares and analyzes financial information for construction projects, ensuring accurate tracking of costs and timely reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review project journal entries, reconciliations, and cost reports.
  • Analyze project pay forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Track and maintain insurance and bond information for subcontractors.
  • Support month-end closing, budget revisions, and cost code setup.
  • Assist with timecard entry, certified payroll, and equipment accruals.
  • Liaise with project teams, vendors, and accounting personnel.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in construction field accounting or training.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong organization, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Developing time management and problem-solving abilities.
