Job Summary:

Premier Solutions HI, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring database integrity, implementing security measures, and optimizing database performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database systems of high availability and quality
  • Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
  • Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
  • Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
  • Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
  • Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
  • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
  • Ensure web sites and products are compliant
  • Provide regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Update operations and user documentation as needed
  • Assist in the development of new initiatives
  • Carry out special tasks at Management's direction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer discipline or relevant certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing SQL Server databases
  • Experience with database security, backups, and recovery operations
  • Familiarity with SQL scripting and database optimization techniques
  • Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
  • Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
