Job Title: Wind Turbine Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at RWE Clean Energy, LLC. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our wind farms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines and associated equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, and/or distribution
  • At least 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Intermediate understanding of electromechanical relay, hydraulic accumulator, linear transducer, and electrical motor
