Job Summary

RWE Renewables America, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Wind Farm Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the operations team, including troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and equipment logs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, and/or distribution; at least 1 year of experience in wind turbine maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of wind turbines and associated equipment; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to obtain any necessary certifications or licenses.
