Chicago, Illinois, United States Chicago Public Schools Full time

Overview of Chicago Public Schools (CPS):

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) stands as one of the largest educational districts in the United States, catering to over 320,000 students across more than 600 schools. With a workforce of approximately 40,000 individuals, predominantly educators, CPS is dedicated to achieving significant objectives that guarantee every student, in every school and neighborhood, has access to a premier educational experience, equipping them for success in higher education, career paths, and community involvement. To realize this vision, CPS commits to three core principles: academic advancement, financial health, and integrity. These commitments are supported by six fundamental values: student focus, holistic development, equity, academic excellence, community collaboration, and ongoing learning.

Nutrition Support Services (NSS):

NSS provides complimentary breakfast, lunch, and, in select locations, after-school meals to all CPS students. Meals are served on every school day, during Saturday school programs, and throughout the summer, adhering to the nutritional standards outlined by the USDA's Child Nutrition Program meal patterns.
