Position Overview:
Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Livermore, CA (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Essential Skills:
- Proficient understanding of warehouse, stockroom, and storeroom operations
- Capability to transport moderately heavy or bulky items (e.g., boxes weighing 30 to 40 pounds)
- Ability to maneuver a fully loaded cart weighing up to 650 pounds, requiring an initial push force of up to 70 pounds
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to maneuver a fully loaded cart weighing up to 650 pounds, requiring an initial push force of up to 70 pounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and distribute equipment, materials, merchandise, or tools within a warehouse or stockroom.
- Verify incoming orders against requisition forms, invoices, or other documentation.
- Organize supplies in bins, on floors, or on shelves based on the nature of the items for easy access.
- Label items with identifying codes, figures, or letters as necessary.
- Fulfill orders from requisitions or issue supplies upon proper request.
- Assist in conducting periodic inventory checks or maintaining ongoing inventory records.
- Document receipt of equipment and confirm that goods received meet the specifications of the original order.
- Request or order supplies as required.
- Facilitate special purchases under authorized requisitions.
- Prepare necessary forms, documents, work orders, and reports.
- Comply with safety regulations.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
